Matatena is a game of skill which works through a series of small objects, which are thrown, caught and manipulated in various ways, in the end, the creative world is that, throwing ideas into the air, looking at visual references of all kinds to in the end create something with all the ideas that were previously seen. Matatena is a letter from love for Guadalajara and the people who travel through it" - Matatena

Matatena is an experimental fashion magazine and its derivatives, which seeks to offer a safe and free space to promote/disseminate local and national creative talent (GDL + MX), through an easy-to-digest visual proposal and a dynamic experience. It is an independent project that is physically published in semiannual editions, it is made up of 5 members: Javier Herrera, Paola Gutiérrez, Victoria Herrera, Dalí Díaz and Luciana Contreras. Each edition has new emerging talents and collaborators that allow us to transmit: innovation, creativity and diversity through their multidisciplinary proposals.
